Volunteer for San Francisco’s Million Meals Event

The Salvation Army of San Francisco and Numana, Inc. will be holding a Million Meals packing event in the Bay Area this Saturday, April 24 between 8 a.m. and  11 p.m., and they are still looking for plenty of volunteers to lend a hand!

It’s easy to sign up – just grab some friends (the more the merrier) and select volunteer time slots at The Salvation Army Golden State Division’s online registration.

This event will be unique to those previous because they will attempt to pack all 1 million meals in only 1 day! What better way to help those in need in Haiti by contributing a few hours of your time towards reaching this million meal goal? Plus, it’s a perfect opportunity to celebrate National Volunteer Week.

For more information about and registration for the San Francisco Bay Area’s Million Meals Event, visit The Salvation Army’s Golden State Division’s website at www.tsagoldenstate.org. You can also raise awareness by sharing their Facebook Million Meals for Haiti event page!

  1. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
    Thanks a lot!

  2. Service reviews are easily available over many internet resources to give us an independent
opinion about many service providers. Since I could not use an alternate email I entered in my location information and the answer to my
secret question. 7) If you really care about being private,
    don’t use a voice-mail at all.
