Songs for Survivors

The southern US has seen much damage from April’s devastating tornado outbreak, but Saturday, May 21 will be a time to celebrate survival!

WHAT: Rodan + Fields Songs for Survivors Concert
WHEN: Saturday, May 21, 7-11pm
WHERE: Davidson Center for Exploration, U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Huntsville, AL
WHY: 100% of proceeds benefit relief efforts for tornado survivors

Several of Nashville’s greatest singers/songwriters, including Jim Parker, Wood Newton, Donny Lowry, and Mark Namore, will perform at the Rodan + Fields Songs for Survivors Concert, hosted specifically to recognize tornado survivors and aid relief efforts.

Saturday’s event will be chalk-full of great music, plus a delicious southern BBQ dinner and live auction to raise additional money for the relief fund.

Dermatologists Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields (creators of Proactiv® Solution, whose commercials you’ve probably seen on TV) said a number of their local consultants and families were affected by the disaster, which is part of the reason they’re putting together this benefit.

We’re grateful to count them as partners in helping tornado survivors, along with Lite 96.9 WRSA Radio, FOX 54 and the Huntsville Times. This will be a great way to let community members and businesses get involved in supporting those affected by the storms.

Individual tickets are $80 each, $150 per couple, or a table of 8 can be purchased for $800. You can buy tickets at Lite 96.9 and at the Huntsville Times, or  email songsforsurvivors@hotmail.com for more information.
