Angel Giving Tree Online: Be Someone’s Santa this Christmas!

The Salvation Army Angel Giving Tree Online campaign presented by jcpenney is in full swing! There are still thousands of angels waiting for you to adopt them this Christmas.

What are you waiting for?

Until December 13, you can ensure a very special Christmas morning to disadvantaged children, teens and seniors in need by adopting an angel online. You could be someone’s Santa Claus!

If that’s not enough motivation, jcpenney is creating even more incentive to join in this effort by leveraging Black Friday weekend. Here are the details:

On Thanksgiving Day, Jcpenney will donate $50 to The Salvation Army, up to $400,000 for every angel adopted online – giving customers another reason to take advantage of online Black Friday specials at www.jcp.com.

On Black Friday, jcpenney will donate $25 to The Salvation Army, up to $100,000, for every customer who uses Foursquare to check-in to a jcpenney store between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. Don’t know what Foursquare is? Click Here to sign up!

For over 40 years, jcpenney has generously helped The Salvation Army serve others in need at Christmastime. With your help, we could reach our goal of raising an additional $500,000 to be given to others in need. How awesome is that?

To adopt your angel today, please visit www.jcp.com/angel.

We hope you’ll consider adopting a disadvantaged senior citizen. There are many overlooked seniors who are either facing financial hardship or lack the family support system who would otherwise make Christmas special. We remember this day our Veterans in need – many of whom are struggling to provide for themselves – and we hope you’ll help provide joy and love for these very deserving folks in need this Christmas.

  1. I worked at the Salvation Army USA at Midway Airport. I am a volunteer for the Christmas basket program. I am now filing a complaint against them because they terminated my volunteering services because I took an application home to my mother to complete. While I was there other volunteers where not taking accurate information and allowing people to fill out applications who was not in need of these items. While normally I would not complain about this I have to because it was a truly unfair action. I think that particular Salvation Army should be investigated for their false activities. I am speaking because I am no longer there. If anyone can send me to the correct people to contact for this complaint please do so.

I believe the ethics of the people here at this location is very questionable.
