Virtual Bell Ringer Raises $28,000 for Salvation Army

The Online Red Kettle Champion: 38 donors and $18,355 raised so far!

Congratulations to Nick Pepperworth of Anchorage, AK, the winner of our Online Red Kettle Contest! Nick was able to collect donations from more individual donors than anyone else with a total of 38 contributors to his kettle by contest’s ending. Nick’s kettle is also in second place for highest dollar amount raised: $18,355 and rising!

As the winner, Nick has won an all-expenses-paid trip for two to see the Dallas Cowboys play the Miami Dolphins at Cowboys stadium on Thanksgiving Day. The trip includes field-level passes to see Enrique Iglesias light up the stage at The Salvation Army Kettle Kick-off halftime show.

A local philanthropist, Nick raised this money in conjunction with The Salvation Army Alaska Division’s “Season of Giving” lunch which occurred last week. He was the top fundraiser for the fifth year in a row, raising $28,000 in total for The Salvation Army. Wow! In everything that Nick does, his motivation is to acknowledge his personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

It’s clear to us that Nick has a huge heart and a giving spirit, so much in fact that he’s giving his prize package to two of his closest friends who are HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans.

This guy really knows how to kick off the Christmas season!

We want to send a big thank you to Nick and to all of the virtual bell ringers who continue to help The Salvation Army “Do the Most Good”. We really couldn’t do it without you. The donations collected online and outside serve millions of Americans in need throughout the year. Thank you so much for your faithful volunteerism and generosity!

  1. It is enhanced by sonic boom in a impressive line-up of stretch of land,
air and sea cars or trucks. There were also games for
the PSP(Play – Station Portable) that PSP owners could get as well.

I’ve always thought, as well as some of my friends, that a paid PSN might have the features necessary to compete
with Xbox Live and overtake it.
