The Dallas Cowboys’ Holiday Wish
Even the Dallas Cowboys have a Christmas wish this year! The NFL team is asking friends and supporters of the team to help them raise $50,000 in support of The Salvation Army “Doing the Most Good” for the most in need.
Aptly named the “Cowboys Cause”, the site has raised $2,000 for The Salvation Army so far. Additionally, if you donate through the Cowboys website (found here), you will automatically be entered to win an autographed Cowboys jersey from players such as Jason Witten, Demarcus Ware, DeMarco Murray, and Sean Lee during the “15 Days of Cowboys Christmas”.
Why 15 days? The Salvation Army’s kicked off the Red Kettle Campaign for the 15th consecutive year during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game!
Other prizes include hats, sweatshirts, calendars and t-shirts.
The team’s wish is that you’ll donate $15 or whatever you can afford to the cause. We hope you’ll help the team reach their goal and support “Doing the Most Good” with The Salvation Army. The campaign ends December 25.
Many thanks to the Dallas Cowboys for their tremendous support of The Salvation Army, once again!
