Five Bell Ringers Continue to Ring for the Record
Five Salvation Army volunteer bell ringers have fought through 53 hours of nonstop bell ringing to raise awareness for The Salvation Army’s 120th Red Kettle Campaign and set a new world record. They’ve crushed the previous record of 36 hours, established last year. Their efforts are courageous, and will help The Salvation Army assist millions of people this Christmas.
But the competition continues as they push themselves to reach 60 hours tonight at 12am (ET). You can support their efforts by donating online to the Red Kettle Campaign at www.donate.salvationarmyusa.org. We continue to wish them the best and warm thoughts as temperatures drop tonight.
Remaining contestants include:
Leilan McNally; Indianapolis, IN
Jason Perkins; Suisun City, CA
Saundra Shearon; Cleburne, TX
Caleb Stokes; Indianapolis, IN
Darrell Tureskis; Springfield, IL
