Championship Banners Fly High at Kroc Center

Ever dreamed of being a professional basketball or hockey player? You can make that dream come true today and tomorrow at the gymnasium of The Salvation Army’s Kroc Center in Boston, MA.

For two days only, 17 NBA World Championship banners of the Boston Celtics and six NHL Stanley Cup Champion banners of the Boston Bruins will fly from the rafters at the Kroc Center– a temporary relocation from TD Garden while the NCAA Eastern Regional Finals fly their own banners at the games March 22 & 24.

Thanks to The Salvation Army’s relationship with Garden Neighborhood Charities, the philanthropic arm of TD Graden, the Kroc Center’s grand gymnasium was the obvious choice for flying these legendary banners!

“Kicking off this campaign at The Salvation Army Kroc Center is important to us because it brings the mission of Garden Neighborhood Charities to life.  We’re proud to provide support to local organizations making a positive impact in our neighborhood of Greater Boston.” John Wentzell, President of TD Garden, said in a release.

The couch and potato chips might be calling your name for the NCAA game tomorrow night, but make sure to stop by the Kroc Center beforehand to get your heart pumpin’!
