Volunteers: Tell us about Your Good Work!

Since National Volunteer Week is all about recognizing our nation’s volunteers, The Salvation Army wants to tell the world about how YOU’RE Doing the Most Good in your community!

Share with us how you’re helping your communities – either by submitting or a photo or making a video and posting to Youtube – and we’ll share your submissions on our blog as well as our national Facebook and Twitter pages between now and National Salvation Army Week (NSAW), celebrated on May 14-20. (Need volunteer ideas? Click here for some examples)

We hope that by highlighting your good work, together we can inspire and mobilize others to Do the Most Good in their own communities.

Here’s how you can participate in our “I Do the Most Good” Campaign:

By Email:

Email your photo to MediaRelations@SalvationArmyUSA.org with the subject “I Do the Most Good.” Please feel free to share with us what you’re doing in the photo and why!

By Youtube:

Upload a video either telling or showing us how you volunteer in your community. Please tag it with the phrase #IDoTheMostGood so we don’t miss it! Particpants are encouraged to post links to their Youtube videos on Facebook and Twitter with the same hashtag.
