Donuts & Deals: Sprint Supports NSAW!

It’s not even Donut Day but we’re already stuffed full of the doughy goodness!

Helping us celebrate National Salvation Army Week (NSAW), representatives from well-known wireless company Sprint stopped by The Salvation Army’s National Headquarters (NHQ) this morning with coffee and a whole lotta’ donuts!

NHQ is one of four Salvation Army locations the company is visiting this week as a thank you to employees, advisory board members and volunteers.

Laura Walker of The Salvation Army NHQ team.

In actuality, we should be thanking them. Not only were the coffee and donuts delicious, but Sprint also offers Salvation Army employees an excellent discount on cell phone services.

Known widely as one of the most “green” companies in America, Sprint also has a cell phone Buyback program which works to reuse and recycle old cell phones, regardless of carrier or manufacturer.

And get this: right now if you donate your old phone through the Buyback program, Sprint will direct the proceeds to The Salvation Army!

It’s been a great 59th annual NSAW thus far. *A huge thank you to Sprint for awesome support of The Salvation Army!*
