Owl City Headlines Third Annual Rock the Red Kettle Concert Benefitting The Salvation Army
We are excited to announce that The Salvation Army will host the third annual Rock the Red Kettle Concert at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on December 15, with performances by musical artists Owl City, Hot Chelle Rae, Andy Grammer, and Bridgit Mendler!
Hosted and produced by Ned Specktor of Specktor Media, the free show helps raise awareness of our 122nd annual Red Kettle Campaign, the oldest annual charitable fundraiser of its kind in the United States. Last year’s concert – which included performances by Greyson Chance, Colbie Caillat, Hanson, Honor Society, and Drake Bell – welcomed approximately 17,000 viewers in-person and online.
Once again, we’ll be live streaming the show via Cambio, so if you can’t make it to Los Angeles that night, make sure to tune into The Salvation Army’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/SalvationArmyUSA at 7:30 p.m. PST. And for fans that just can’t get enough, our friends at Pandora have created a Salvation Army Rock the Red Kettle music station featuring songs from Owl City as well as other past and present performers. Visit www.Pandora.com to check it out.
Last year’s Red Kettle Campaign garnered record-breaking generosity from the American public through $147.6 million in donations to our Red Kettles. This enabled The Salvation Army to serve yet another 30 million Americans in need throughout the year.
In support of this campaign, each Rock the Red Kettle artist is hosting an Online Red Kettleto collect donations from fans and followers on Facebook and Twitter throughout the holiday season. You can support the Red Kettle Campaign through the artist of your choosing by clicking on the names below:
