Red Kettles “Kicked Off” Thanks to Dallas Cowboys, Kenny Chesney
Approximately 40 million viewers tuned in for the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Classic football game against the Washington Redskins, as well as The Salvation Army’s 16th annual Red Kettle Kick-Off halftime show featuring acclaimed artist and football fanatic, Kenny Chesney.
And now The Salvation Army’s 122nd Red Kettle Campaign is officially in full swing, with thousands of bell-ringers collecting donations for the downtrodden at storefronts across the country. Last year’s record fundraising helped The Salvation Army meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of nearly 30 million Americans throughout 2012.
We give thanks for Kenny Chesney’s support, our valued partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, and for every coin (tooth or ring) donated to The Salvation Army’s Red Kettles by the American public this Christmas!
