Owl City Helps Salvation Army Feed Detroit Families In Need

Owl City released their latest volunteer video yesterday, featuring singer-songwriter Adam Young and touring band members – Breanne Duren, Daniel Jorgensen, Jasper Nephew and Steve Goold – helping The Salvation Army of Eastern Michigan pack boxes of food for families in need of a meal on Thanksgiving.

Detroit was one of five volunteer stops with The Salvation Army along the way of the band’s Midsummer Station Tour, in support our Red Kettle Campaign, and as a way to encourage followers to give back in their own communities. We are so thankful for the band’s service. Check out the latest video and let us know what you think with the hashtag #RTRK on Twitter!

Don’t miss Owl City headline The Salvation Army’s 3rd annual Rock the Red Kettle Concert produced by Specktor Media at L.A. Live in Los Angeles next weekend!
