Stearns & Foster Gives The Gift of Sleep This Holiday Season

Stearns & Foster is once again providing a good night’s sleep for residents of our shelters thanks to the company’s third annual Gift of Sleep holiday program.

Until January 11, 2013, for every Stearns & Foster mattress sold by participating retailers, the company will donate a $100 equivalent in new mattresses to The Salvation Army’s residential shelters, aiming to donate $1 million in new beds to those who need it most.

We all know a good night’s sleep is valuable, and often hard to achieve even when one has a bed to call their own. As many as 3.5 million Americans experience homelessness in a given year, and many of them seek out The Salvation Army for shelter. Stearns & Foster’s donation is providing great comfort to residents of our emergency shelters, and a guaranteed fresh start for tomorrow.

The company’s generosity assists The Salvation Army in meeting the lodging needs of nearly 10 million Americans annually. We hope you’ll visit your local Stearns & Foster retailer this holiday season to help give the gift of sleep.

A huge thank you to Stearns & Foster for their wonderful partnership.
