Mobilized to Serve, Providing Shelter Along Gulf Coast

Hurricane Isaac made landfall on southern Louisiana’s coast around 6:45 p.m. tonight unleashing fierce winds and torrential rain. The Salvation Army is mobilized and ready to serve anyone impacted by the disaster via 12 mobile feeding units and a fully equipped 54-foot field kitchen. Combined these units are capable of providing 31,000 meals per day. [...]
