This coming weekend The Salvation Army and Christians around the world will observe the 7th Annual Weekend of Prayer & Fasting for Victims of Sexual Trafficking.
In addition to the thousands of prayers that will be offered on behalf of victims and those working to help them rebuild their lives, I hope a new theme will be added to the pleas that are lifted up to God—a theme that practically shouts to us from the book of Joshua.
On Sunday, June 10, The Salvation Army is taking part in recognizing Abused Women and Children’s Awareness Day, an opportunity to reflect on how we can stop the violence that is destroying the lives and well-being of children and promote ways to aid victims.
If there’s one thing FedEx has mastered, it’s delivering. And they did just that and more when they visited The Salvation Army, Golden State Division in San Francisco during National Salvation Army Week.

One week into the video’s release, it was officially named the most viral video in history with over 100 million views on YouTube. Whether you like the video or not, the film sheds a bright light on the atrocities of child trafficking – an industry that enslaves approximately 1.2 million children each year.
