During times of disaster, The Salvation Army provides relief in the form of warm meals, snacks and beverages to families and individuals who have lost everything. Relief can also mean basic materials such as clothes, blankets, and toiletries. Relief can be as simple as providing a presence, a hug, or a prayer.

Relief can also mean a new home for a family in need!

EDS Teams Deployed to Woodward, Oklahoma

The Salvation Army is responding to an outbreak of tornadoes that tore through the Midwest and Plains areas last night and early this morning. In Oklahoma, five lives were taken and at least 29 injuries were reported. The brunt of the storm’s force was felt in Woodward, OK where high winds damaged homes, toppled trees and destroyed power lines.
