Sammy Davis is on a mission for vintage.

In 2009 the young stylist and writer founded Sammy Davis Vintage to “make vintage fashion more accessible to the contemporary woman of New York City.” She’s traversed many trunk shows, flea markets, and second-hand stops to find just the right pieces for one-of-a-kind style.

Sammy regularly shares her shopping tips and styling tricks on her website sammydvintage.com. Her latest web video, “How to Mix Stripes in One Outfit,” was filmed on site at a Salvation Army Family Store in Manhattan, and she uses clothes from the store to create a look straight from New York’s runway.

Check out her video below. We hope it inspires you to get creative with the many fashion finds at your local Salvation Army Family & Thrift stores!
