With our 124th Red Kettle Campaign almost underway, we’re curious to know:
What’s your motivation for grabbing loose change before approaching a Red Kettle bell ringer outside of a local business?
What’s your reason for donating?
What rings YOUR bell?
I ask because we’re super excited to hear your answer.
This year we’re extending our annual Red Kettle Campaign to social media, and asking you, our devoted supporters to share your #RedKettleReason for donating to our red kettles. Share your reason on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram using the tag #RedKettleReason, and check out www.redkettlereason.org to see it on full display.
We’re also hoping you’ll encourage your friends and family to do the same to help us get the word out.
“People recognize the Red Kettles and know The Salvation Army, but they don’t always know the depth and breadth of the services we provide. We want to change that by enlisting those who give to share their motivation for contributing,” said Lt. Colonel Ron Busroe, community relations and development secretary.
In support of #RedKettleReason, our friends at Papa John’s Pizza will offer 25 percent off for everyone who donates to The Salvation Army through RedKettleReason.org and shares a reason of their own with their following.
We’re also partnering with Teen Vogue to give fans the chance to enter to win a retweet from their favorite Rock the Red Kettle performers, a trip to L.A. to attend the concert or even the chance to meet some of the artists before the show. For more information, visit teenvogue.com/redkettlereason.
So, what’s your reason? Please share at http://redkettlereason.org/!Tags: Christmas
