Walmart’s “Fill the Truck” Toy Drives

to Support The Salvation Army

Extending a hand to your community members in need just got easier.

Shoppers visiting participating Walmart stores on select weekends from November 28 through December 14, will have the opportunity to drop off new, unwrapped toys and coats for children who take part in The Salvation Army programs year-round as part of the company’s third annual “Fill the Truck” Toy Drive.

Starting the day after Thanksgiving, shoppers hitting Black Friday sales at participating Walmart stores will receive a list of suggested gifts for local children. Once the truck or bin is full of donations from generous shoppers, The Salvation Army will distribute the gifts to families in need.

Last year, Fill the Truck collections spanning three weekends collected more than 136,000 toys and 6,600 coats from generous shoppers.

For more than 40 years, Walmart has been an essential partner of The Salvation Army. This Thanksgiving and beyond, The Salvation Army give thanks for Walmart, our valued partner in Doing the Most Good.

We hope you’ll join us in bringing smiles to more children this Christmas. Find a Walmart near you at by visiting
